TREKKING

Trekking in Nepal

With eight of the top ten highest summits in the world and some of the most beautiful landscapes which are only reachable on foot, trekking in Nepal is one of the unique experiences of Asia.

Trekking is the most popular activity in Nepal. Despite what many may perceive, trekking in Nepal is not necessarily wandering alone through an uncharted wilderness. As they walk along the well-marked trekking paths, travellers will often discover quite the opposite; hundreds of locals passing through each day as they haul food, water and other odd necessities back to their tiny villages, along with dozens of fellow trekkers. The regularly-spaced villages and tea houses allow trekkers good opportunities to rest and recover, either for a few minutes or the night. The strong culture and unreserved friendliness of the Nepalese people can also be witnessed as one traverses the hill tracks. Nepal is known for its many beautiful and unforgettable trekking trails. We can provide a range of guided treks, covering a wide range of regions, difficulty and lengths for all abilities. Check out our top 12 trekking in Nepal

Annapurna Region

The Annapurna region is an area in western Nepal where some of the most popular treks are located. The region is generally taken to include areas around the Annapurna Range (Annapurna Himal), the Dhaulagiri Range and the Kaligandaki River valley. Peaks in the Annapurnas include 8,091m Annapurna I, Nilgiri (7,061 m) and Machhapuchchhre (6,993 m). Everest Region

The Everest region, also known as the Khumbu region, is one of the most visited regions for trekking in Nepal. It is situated on northeastern Nepal on the Nepalese side of Mount Everest. The region is a major Sherpa settlement of the Himalayas and has an amazing mountainous landscape. Ranging in elevations from 3,300 meters (11,000 feet) to the 8,848 m (29,029 ft) summit of Mount Everest, the Everest region includes the famous Sagarmatha National Park and popular villages like Namche Bazaar and Tengboche. Our Everest Region Treks

Langtang and Helambu Region
The Langtang region next to the Tibetan border is not as popular as the Annapurna and Everest trails, and that’s one reason why we like it. The region has many things going for it: it’s fairly close to Kathmandu, there’s a wide range of stunning scenery, you get right into the high mountains within a couple of days, and there are lots of possible trek combinations. Our Langtang & Helambu Region Treks

Mustang Region

The landscape of Mustang is more akin to a grand high desert dotted with solitary mountain pillars rather than the usual forested and high pastures typical of the Himalayan Mountains. Click for More

Dolpo Region
